Oscar Wijsman

Oscar Wijsman serves as the international AI & Data Science Lead for the Dutch Police. Within the police and for other LEAs and partners, he is a central point of contact for data science, AI & advanced analytics-related topics. His areas of focus are organizational development, technical infrastructure, legislation, governance, general coordination, policy making and analytics developments.

Oscar is co-chair of the Europol EuCB Strategic Group on AI and a member of the IACP Communication & Technology Committee and AI subcommittee which he chairs. Oscar regularly speaks on the topic of AI at international LEA-related conferences.
