Neil Byrd

Neal Byrd is a versatile public sector sales leader with over 30 years of experience in driving, expanding, and exceeding revenue targets for enterprise software sales teams within the public sector. Currently, as Vice President of Federal at Latent AI, he dedicates himself to delivering edge-based, mission-critical AI solutions that empower better decision-making for those who serve. Neal is committed to inspiring his team members by providing supportive leadership that removes obstacles and fosters efficient mission achievement.

Throughout his career, Neal has led federal, public sector, and higher education sales teams at a variety of organizations, including NEC National Security Systems, Veracode, Adobe, Axon, IBM, i2, EMC, BEA (acquired by Oracle), JBoss (acquired by Red Hat), and several startups.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public and Urban Affairs from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Intelligence Analysis from Johns Hopkins University.

Neal resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and enjoys outdoor activities in his spare time.
