Alex Gurney

Ms. Gurney is a Principal within EY’s Government & Public Sector, with over 30 years of experience providing a comprehensive suite of consulting services to Federal government clients.  At EY, she is the partner in charge of the DHS account, focused on supporting both the mission and non-mission areas within CBP, ICE, TSA, DHS HQ, FEMA, USCIS, and USCG.  Prior to this role, she served as the leader for the Civilian and Security market segment, focused on delivering transformation engagements that have modernized mission and non-mission operations through technology enablement and the development of a future-ready workforce. Her career is marked by a proven track record of establishing, leading, and expanding consulting practices and client accounts from the ground up, contributing significantly to the growth of EY’s federal business. In recognition of her contributions, she received the 2020 Minority Business Leader Award from the Washington Business Journal.
