Erik Sachwitz

Erik Sachwitz is Cognyte’s General Manager for North America, a role he assumed in January 2026. He brings deep experience leading federal and public-sector technology businesses, with a career focused on helping government customers address complex security and operational challenges.

Erik holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in naval architecture and marine engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Before joining Cognyte, he served as General Manager of Cellebrite Federal Solutions after previously serving as Vice President of Sales at Cellebrite. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Quest Software, Micro Focus and Attachmate, including oversight of the federal business unit at Micro Focus. Across these roles, he built and led high-performing teams, consistently delivered against growth targets and helped align technology offerings with the evolving needs of federal agencies.
