Joao Granja

Joao Granja serves as Vice President of Sales at Thomson Reuters Special Services, LLC, where he leads sales, program management, and delivery teams to address customers’ increasingly complex needs.

Joao began his career as an attorney in Washington, D.C., and joined Thomson Reuters in 2006. Over the next eight years, he held multiple business development roles supporting law firms and federal government clients. He joined TRSS in 2015 as Lead Business Development Director, where he rapidly scaled the law enforcement business and helped launch the company’s commercial offerings. He later spent several years in sales operations, focusing on reporting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.

Joao holds a law degree from Cleveland-Marshall Law School and a bachelor’s degree from Gettysburg College. A Washington, D.C. native, he continues to live in the region today.
