Matt Dosberg

Matt Dosberg is the GSFC Deputy Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) and Digital Transformation Lead. Matt leads or co-leads all things Digital Transformation (DT) at GSFC, including digital engineering, AI, data-driven programmatics, data strategy, and more.

He serves as liaison to the agency-level DT team and other centers, coordinating across directorates to drive cultural change within the organization, and has sponsored multiple DT events at GSFC, including the center’s first AI Symposium.

Matt was named NASA’s first Digital Transformer of the Month in May 2024 Our First Transformer of the Month: Matt Dosberg – NASA.

Prior to joining Goddard in October 2020, Matt was the Program Manager for the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, Digital Innovation and Development Program (DIDit), a progressive software delivery team that had a successful digital transformation of the U.S. Asylum and Refugee Programs. Matt holds an MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Maryland Smith School of Business.
